In their most exciting game of the year yet, the New Orleans Pelicans were able to pull out a huge victory over the East leading Cleveland Cavaliers, 114-108.
The first looked like the Pelicans were doomed from the start, as JR Smith came out and hit three straight threes as the Cavs opened up a 15-4 lead early. The Pelicans were able to come back and cut the deficit thanks in large part to their ability to get to the line, shooting a total of nine free throws in the quarter and only trailing by six after one.
