The New Orleans Pelicans hunt for the perfect coaching staff continues. According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Pelicans have shown interest in, former Denver Nuggets interim coach, Melvin Hunt.

This is just the latest attempt the Pelicans have made to try and make their coaching staff the best it can be. Not only has the team made changes this offseason by firing Monty Williams, and bringing on Alvin Gentry to be their new head coach, but they’ve also been in consistent contact with top assistants across the NBA in an attempt to create the best staff possible.
