David Griffin is working Gayle Benson’s New Orleans Pelicans rubber stamped expense account overtime. Shams Charania of the Athletic is reporting that Trajan Langdon has been hired to fill the open General Manager role for the team. The Pelicans’ front office foundations are nearly complete going into the offseason.
Trajan Langdon has been serving as Assistant GM with the Brooklyn Nets. He has been with the Nets since 2016, helping to lead that franchise after the disastrous Billy King trades. The Nets had to scout their way out of a bad situation.
They hired Langdon away from Cleveland, where he served as director of player administration and basketball operations.
