The New Orleans Pelicans are simply not talented enough to contend with a team like the Miami Heat at this point, and it was clear for the majority of the game. The Pelicans were able to stick around due to some enthusiastic play, but the Heat were able to fend off their advances and take home the win. Luke Babbitt surprised many by scoring in volume, but the rest of the team was not able to carry their weight on the offensive end.
At some point, efficiency takes priority over raw numbers, and Toney Douglas reached that point on Tuesday night.
