Things became painful for the New Orleans Pelicans tonight.
New Orleans shot 45.5% from the field, yet could not overcome domination in every facet of the game, in a home loss to the Utah Jazz.
The Pelicans were in the game for most of the first half, getting the deficit to within two at one point. However, poor late execution got them down nine right before halftime.
The second half was a completely different story.
New Orleans scored just 41 points in the second half, while giving up 65 points to Utah in the same stretch.
