If it wasn’t already obvious after the passing of the NBA Trade Deadline, it seems pretty clear that the New Orleans Pelicans have no desire whatsoever to trade Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers. NBA Twitter is known for being a petty place, and the Pelicans added plenty of drama to the Twitterverse last night as they defeated the Lakers sans Anthony Davis.
After the game, the New Orleans Pelicans wasted no time rubbing salt in the wounds of the Lakers by tweeting out a laughing Michael Scott from NBC’s The Office, clearly aimed at their opponent.
