The New Orleans Pelicans seem to be on a mission to remind fans that this team is not built to run Alvin Gentry’s system. Far too often the Pelicans settled for isolation plays in the half court, and it resulted in some truly terrible offensive possessions. From Tyreke Evans taking a step back three to Ryan Anderson forcing every shot under the sun, the lack of flow and basketball IQ was on full display.
It is becoming clear and apparent that quite a few players simply don’t fit, and a fix seems no where to be seen.
