A season that began with fans hoping for Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday to lead another New Orleans Pelicans team into the playoffs will be coming to a disappointing ending soon as the organization is steadily on their way to a draft pick in the lottery this summer.
The Anthony Davis trade drama unfortunately became the main storyline of this year when he made his future desires clear to Dell Demps and the rest of the front office. It’s a shame too, because a few players on the team (Davis included) were in the middle of having some very promising seasons before the focus of fans and media alike shifted into trying to figure out the best trade packages for Anthony Davis instead of focusing on what was still happening on the basketball court.
