Now in his fifth NBA season, Terrence Jones has spent his entire professional career in the league’s Southwest Division. After being drafted 18th overall by Houston in 2012, the Oregon native played his first four seasons with the Rockets, prior to joining New Orleans as an unrestricted free agent in July. Although he’s still a very young player, he is among the Pelicans’ team leaders in NBA playoff experience (25 games, including 11 starts). Over a two-year span, Jones started a combined 95 regular season games for Houston squads that each won 50-plus games, culminating with a trip to the Western Conference finals in 2015.
