The New Orleans Pelicans are charging up the ladder of the Western Conference standings. While the borough of teams at the top remains solidified in their place, there’s always a chance to sneak into a higher place.
The Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors hold the top two positions in the standings. From there, 11 games separate the 2nd seeded Warriors from the 3rd seeded Minnesota Timberwolves. Minnesota is two game in front of New Orleans.
Make no mistake the last 22 games of the season will test the endurance of these Pelicans. Including Anthony Davis who is inserting himself into the league MVP discussion.
