Prior to Thanksgiving, Jrue Holiday alluded to Jen Hale of FoxSports that a bump in minutes was on the horizon. At the time, he had given a time frame of about a week and a half, but it wasn't until this past Monday did he finally knock on the door of the 30-minute barrier.
Almost in conjunction with the increase in minutes, Alvin Gentry had announced prior to the game in Chicago last Saturday, Holiday was going to miss his final game of a back-to-back set this season due to the preseason-placed restrictions.
