In sporadic playing time with the Miami Heat, James Ennis only scored a total of 101 baskets during the 2014-15 regular season, yet someone still was able to post a video on YouTube titled “James Ennis Top 10 Dunks,” a testament to the forward’s athleticism and high-flying finishing skills. Since signing with New Orleans out of the D-League just five days ago, the 25-year-old has continued to show glimpses of that ability, but he’s added three-point accuracy to his arsenal, making him a key contributor in each of his three Pelicans games. The 10-day contract signee has tallied 13, 11 and 14 points, respectively, helping New Orleans go 2-1, with the loss coming at San Antonio by just an eight-point margin.
