After a year of waiting, New Orleans Pelicans fans finally got a taste of Frank Jacksons talents on the hardwood. Playing in his first NBA Summer League, Frank Jackson seemed quite comfortable with the ball in his hands. In 13 minutes, the former Duke Blue-Devil put up 13 points and six boards.
He showed explosiveness driving to the rack as well as a solid defensive prowess. His play appeared to be a sign of good things to come for a team desperately searching for backcourt depth. Then, in the third quarter, NOLA fans were forced to curb their enthusiasm.
