It's been a long eight days away, but New Orleans returns to the Smoothie King Center Friday evening against the Philadelphia 76ers.
For the most part things were quiet on the Crescent City's front during the All-Star Break. Anthony Davis represented the organization well during his third All-Star Game appearance in Toronto, scoring 24 points on 12-13 shooting and he partook in the Skills Challenge.
After the weekend in Toronto the focus shifted toward what, if any, trades New Orleans would engage in leading up to Thursday afternoon's trade deadline. Essentially every single Pelican not named Anthony Davis was being linked to a bevy of new teams: Milwaukee, Cleveland, Boston, Toronto and Washington, just to name a few, were reportedly potential trade partners for New Orleans.
