Game 34: Pelicans look to their old Buddy for a helping hand amidst a three-game slide

The losing has to stop, and it has to stop now against the breakout backcourt of De’Aaron Fox and our good old friend, Buddy Hield.

Amidst a three-game skid, it’s too early to call this a ‘must-win’ but it’s about as close as it gets as the Pels have lost 11 of 16 and sit just half a game from 14th in the Western Conference standings. The Pelicans will once again be without Nikola Mirotic and Elfrid Payton, and E’Twaun Moore has been a shell of himself as of late.

Meanwhile, the Kings have one of the better young backcourts in the league, headlined by Fox and Hield.
