Five things to know about the Pelicans on Oct. 3

1) The Pelicans are in Indianapolis, preparing for tonight’s preseason opener at Indiana (6 p.m. Central). The start of preseason always brings an array of questions about broadcast availability, so here goes: Pelicans-Pacers will be broadcast live on WRNO 99.5 FM and the Pelicans Radio Network, with a half-hour pregame show starting at 5:30, featuring host Daniel Sallerson. The game will not be broadcast on TV by either team. If you live outside the New Orleans radio network area, your best option appears to be purchasing the NBA Audio League Pass, which costs $9.99 for 2015-16 and allows you to listen to every game on the schedule for all 30 teams.
