WALTHAM, Mass. -- Boston Celtics swingman Evan Turner did not practice Tuesday and will sit out Wednesday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans because of a left eye abrasion, according to coach Brad Stevens.
Turner suffered the injury with 15 seconds remaining in Sunday's victory over the Los Angeles Lakers and underwent a reevaluation Monday that confirmed it was merely an abrasion. Stevens said the team will exercise caution with bringing Turner back.
"Evan is good. He's at home. He's not going to be here, not going to practice [Tuesday].
