Anthony Davis has been rolling of late and has interjected himself into the MVP conversation, but the cloud of nagging injuries is again haunting the New Orleans Pelicans star.
For the second straight night, Davis was forced to leave the team's game with an injury. He exited Wednesday's game against the Sacramento Kings after rolling his left ankle while landing after grabbing a rebound.
The Pelicans announced that X-rays taken were negative, but Davis did not return in the team's 114-101 win - New Orleans' 10th in a row.
On Tuesday, Davis left the team's win over the LA Clippers with bruised ribs, but returned and scored 31 second-half points.
