Behind the Numbers presented by HUB International: Pistons at Pelicans

A look at three key numbers related to Thursday’s game at the Smoothie King Center between Detroit and New Orleans (7 p.m., Fox Sports New Orleans, WRNO 99.5 FM):

5: Detroit players who’ve started all or nearly all of the team’s 42 games. In a sign of uncanny consistency – and perhaps more to the point, outstanding health – the Pistons have started Reggie Jackson, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Ersan Ilyasova and Andre Drummond in every game this season. Marcus Morris has started 41 times, meaning Detroit (23-19) has used only two different starting lineups all campaign. Contrast that with New Orleans (14-27), which has relied on a staggering 14 different players to start at least one game.
