Well, that's all folks. As per a press conference released on the official Pelicans Twitter account, Anthony Davis has been shut down for the rest of the season and is expected to undergo surgery on an undiagnosed injury to either his left knee or shoulder.

The news comes a day after ESPN ran a story stating that the Pelicans ultimately would consider letting Davis go on the mend for the rest of the team's games.
