Anthony Davis was incredible this afternoon against the Detroit Pistons. The New Orleans Pelicans needed all of his 59 points, 20 rebounds, and 4 assists to pull out a victory with most of the roster stuck in neutral. Ryan Anderson, playing in front of former coach Stan Van Gundy, was an icebox. Omer Asik left the game early in the first quarter. Kendrick Perkins played a handful of ineffective minutes. Norris Cole continued to go on being Norris Cole.
Then there was Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday in the pick and roll.
