Actions speak louder than words. In the past five games no one’s actions have spoken more loudly than New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis. AD has been on an absolute tear. His team has unfortunately been on an absolute slide. It’s the classic case of two things being true at the same time.
This was not anymore evident than on Wednesday night’s game against the Brooklyn Nets. AD put up historical numbers in scoring 34 points, grabbing a staggering 26 rebounds, and blocking 3 shots for good measure. The Pelicans benched helped him out by getting outscored 55-5 in this department and losing the game 126-121.
