Prior to taking questions from media members during his customary pregame media session Wednesday, Alvin Gentry expressed his thoughts to those affected by Tuesday’s tornadoes in Louisiana. The storms affected a five-parish area of the state.
“Our hearts and prayers go out to all the tornado victims from yesterday,” Gentry said. “That’s something that’s very unusual for us in this area. We just want them to know that we’re thinking about them and hope that everything’s OK, and if it’s not, hope that it will get taken care of as soon as it possibly can.”
