The Utah Jazz went on the road to defeat the New Orleans Pelicans 133-109. Backup SG Rodney Hood scored 30 points on 12-of-14 shooting from the field. Meanwhile, the entire New Orleans bench had only 29 points combined on 14-of-26 shooting from the field.

Pelicans are now $950K below the luxury tax and $1.5M below the hard cap after the DeAndre Liggins signing. The Pelicans have 15 players under contract but technically an open roster spot based on the Emeka Okafor 10-Day.

With 43 points in a win against the Thunder on Friday, Anthony Davis became the Pelicans' all-time scorer, passing David West, and doing it in 150 fewer games.
