This season, not many players have been worse defensively than E’Twaun Moore. In fact, according to ESPN’s defensive real plus-minus, seven players have been worse defensively. Even the bite-sized JJ Barea, school zone slow Doug McDermott and defensively illiterate Jordan Clarkson are far ahead of E’Twaun Moore. His company in the hateful eight are not really known for being your everyday Tony Allens either, in Malik Monk, Troy Daniels, De’Aaron Fox, Dennis Schroder, Lou Williams, Emmanuel Mudiay and Jamal Crawford. However, the difference between Moore and his company is that he, you know, tries.
In fact, going strictly by the eye test, Moore would seem like a capable defender.
