In his eight-season-long NBA career, Josh Richardson has already played for six teams, and now he might be on the move in free agency once again. The New Orleans Pelicans acquired Richardson from the San Antonio Spurs at the 2023 trade deadline in exchange for Devonte’ Graham and four second-round picks to upgrade their wing rotation.
In 23 games with the team, he averaged 7.5 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.3 steals, and 38.4 percent shooting from three, which showed a slight drop off from his scoring in San Antonio (11.5 points in 42 games).
