5 takeaways from the New Orleans Pelicans hot shooting victory over Phoenix

Brandon Ingram takeover

Brandon Ingram did not look very good for a large chunk of tonight’s game. He went just 1-7 from the field in the first half and had to spend much of the third quarter on the bench due to foul trouble. However, he made up for that and then some in a phenomenal fourth quarter performance.

Ingram scored 15 of his 28 points in the final period, and was there possession after possession to score a crucial bucket for the Pelicans. The variety of ways he did this was also encouraging as he knocked down 3’s, drove to the hoop, and drew fouls in order to get easy points at the line, showing yet again the full range of his scoring abilities.
