It’s been a rough start to the 2019-2020 NBA season for the New Orleans Pelicans. While it hasn’t gotten drastic enough to pull the plug on the head coaching tenure of Alvin Gentry quite yet, it’s certainly concerning to watch this time continue to lose games.
Losing with a young team is one thing, but with so much veteran talent and young players finding comfort in their roles, the Pelicans’ late-game performances have certainly been a point of concern.
Yesterday on the road against the Dallas Mavericks, the Pelicans didn’t look ready to play as they were run-over in an ugly 84-130 loss.
