LAS CRUCES, N.M. - New Mexico State football wide receiver Jared Wyatt's meteoric rise continues.
The Aggie redshirt senior was one of 199 semifinalists named for the prestigious National Football Foundation (NFF) William V. Campbell Trophy on Thursday, Oct. 1. The award, considered by many to be the "Academic Heisman," is given to a collegiate football student-athlete with the best combination of academic success, community service and on-field performance.
Wyatt, who began his collegiate career at Bowling Green, caught seven passes for 139 yards (19.9 avg.) and a touchdown in his debut season at NM State one year ago.
