FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The New Mexico State women's tennis team dropped a 4-2 decision Friday afternoon to Northern Arizona at the Aquatic and Tennis Complex to start its weekend.
In doubles action, NM State's (1-3) top tandem lost 6-1 before and tied thing sup with a 6-3 win on court No. 3. Tied 3-3, and did their best to fend off NAU's Ellie Millard and Hanneke Lodewijks but ultimately fell 6-3 – giving NAU the 1-0 lead.
Due to injury, NAU (3-3) forfeited the No. 6 singles position in singles play which knotted it up at 1-1.
