ABILENE, Texas – The New Mexico State women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision on Wednesday to Abilene Christian at the Eager Tennis Center. The loss moves NM State to 4-6 on the year as it now heads home for a four-match homestand.
The host Wildcats went up early on the afternoon, taking the doubles point with wins on courts No. 2 and No. 1. The Aggies' No. 3 doubles pair of Lindsay Harlas and Gabrielle Joyce was able to finish their match the same time as ACU clinched the doubles point by besting Ansley Boarman and Jordan Henry 6-4.
