LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's soccer team dropped its Western Athletic Conference opener 3-0 to Utah Valley at the Soccer Athletic Complex on Friday afternoon.
"We're still trying to find that right combination of formation that gives us a good, solid backline while at the same time it allows us to be offensive minded," said head coach Rob Baarts. "The change that we made today to try and adjust to something, I think we just had a hard time figuring that out and when we stopped figuring that out we lost our offense.
