TUCSON, Ariz. - The 2023 Wildcat Classic is upon us, with this year's edition highlighted by Alabama State, Arizona (host), Long Beach State and NM State. The Aggies are coming off a near-perfect weekend in Illinois, winning nine of 10 sets and going 3-0. NM State dropped just one set to Saint Louis on Saturday after sweeping both Illinois State and Miami (OH) in a Friday doubleheader.
The McKale Center in Tucson will once again be the site for Arizona's annual tournament. Long Beach State is the lone new member from 2022, replacing LIU. NM State went 2-1 over the weekend a year ago, falling to Arizona and sweeping both LIU and Alabama State.
