ALBUQUERQUE – Judging by its performance this weekend, the NM State track & field program is ready for the Western Athletic Conference Indoor Championships.
Senior Brooke Wallace and freshman Dascha Robinson cemented their spots atop the conference's performance lists with personal-best efforts Saturday at the UNM Collegiate Classic.
Wallace competed in the 400m dash, finishing with a new personal-best time of 55.99. Her time leads the conference by .49 seconds and is the third-best mark in Aggie history.
Robinson has the WAC's top mark this season in the triple jump by a large margin.
