ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Sophomore Aidan Thomas fired a final round 74 to finish first at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate hosted by the University of New Mexico at the UNM Championship Course, Saturday.
Thomas finished at -9 overall to finish one shot clear of Jiri Zuska of Louisville, Keanu Akina of BYU abnd Sam Choi (UNM) who finished at -8 overall. The individual title is the second of Thomas' career, as the New Mexico native finished tied with Dawson Lewis of Wichita State at the 2019 Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate hosted by NM State. Thomas is the first aggie to win an individual title outright since Ryo Harada in 2017.
