LAS CRUCES, N.M. – After a historic week on the hardwood, New Mexico State men's basketball senior Jemerrio Jones was named the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week as well as the College Sports Madness National Mid-Major Player of the Week.
This is the second weekly honor for Jones and the sixth honor for the Aggies. Of the 14 weeks of award being handed out, NM State has won nearly half of them between Jones and Zach Lofton.
Jones joins Aggie legends Sam Lacey and Billy Joe Price as the only players to record 20 rebound in three or more games in a single-season at NM State.
