LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The NM State women's golf team is in the mix after two rounds at the Spring Break Shootout, sitting in third place with a total score of 596 (+8). The Aggies showed vast improvement in round two, posting a 292 (+8) after opening with a 304 (+20) in the first round. On Tuesday, NM State will be chasing current leader Illinois who leads the field of 13 teams with a 36-hole score of 578 (+10).
Leading the charge for NM State is Emma Bunch, who delivered an impressive second-round score of 67 (-4), bringing her total to 143 (+1) after two rounds at Lake Jovita Golf Club.
