Shutout Gives @NMStateBaseball Saturday Win Over Northern Colorado

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State baseball team took on Western Athletic Conference foe Northern Colorado in game two of a three-game weekend series at Presley Askew Field on Saturday. After producing runs in three frames, the Aggies saw stellar pitching and great defense lead the team a shutout 5-0 victory over the Bears.

NM State (24-9, 8-3 WAC) starter Justin Dehn tossed a one-two-three opening half inning and then the Aggies produced their biggest scoring frame in the bottom of the first to put Northern Colorado (7-23, 3-8 WAC) behind early.
