BRYAN, Texas – The New Mexico State men's golf team played in a shortened day one of action at the Aggie Invitational due to weather delays and darkness at the Traditions Golf Club on Saturday. At the end of an abbreviated round one, the Aggies squad combined for a 217 (+8) team total to sit in ninth place out of 13 teams, three spots and seven strokes ahead of Battle of I-25 rival New Mexico.
At the end of the shortened first round, NM State's play was led by Cameron Gambini who sits in a tie for 12th after shooting a 50 (-1).
