DENVER – was named Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week after averaging 23.0 points and 15.0 rebounds in two WAC wins over the weekend, the league announced Monday.
The senior guard from Placentia, Calif., earned her fourth weekly honor of the year and 10 of her career.
Salas recorded her 14 double-double of the season with 21 points and 12 rebounds in a 61-48 win over CSU Bakersfield. She followed up that performance with her 15 double-double of the season when she scored 25 and pulled down 18 boards in an 81-52 win against Grand Canyon.
