NAMPA, Idaho - The Aggies have a real shot at winning their first indoor title.
NM State took the Western Athletic Conference Track & Field Championships by storm Friday at the Ford Idaho Center, grabbing two significant event wins and advancing nearly more than a dozen competitors to tomorrow's finals.
Freshman Dascha Robinson won the triple jump title by almost a full meter, and NM State's distance medley relay team of sophomore Anisa Burciaga, freshman Terice Steen, sophomore Richelle Sandin and freshman Maggie Gibbs pulled off a come-from-behind victory to snatch the title away from GCU.
