DENVER – was named Western Athletic Conference Player of the week after averaging 18.0 points and 14.5 rebounds in a pair of WAC wins over Seattle U and Utah Valley the conference announced Monday.
The senior guard from Placentia, Calif., secured her third weekly honor of the season and seventh of her career to go along with three during the 2016-17 season and two during the 2017-18 season.
Salas scored 21 points to go with 11 rebounds when the Aggies took down Seattle U 75-55 on Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Pan American Center. She then posted her 11 double-double of the season (15 points, 18 rebounds) when NM State beat first-place UVU 58-52 at home.
