TUCSON, Ariz. - Yemisi Oroyinyin led the Aggies with two top-five performances in the hammer throw and the shot put on the first day of the Willie Williams Classic in Tucson, Ariz., on Friday.
Oroyinyin got the Aggies going with a fourth-place finish in the hammer throw with a toss of 52.60m. Emily Hernandez also had a solid performance in the hammer throw, as she placed sixth with a personal-best throw of 51.01m.
Oroyinyin finished her day in the shot put with a runner-up finish. Oroyinyin had a toss of 14.
