LAKEWOOD, Wash. – The New Mexico State women's golf team sits in place after shooting a 293 (+9) during the first round of the Western Athletic Conference Championship at Oakwood Golf Club in Lakewood, Wash.

The Aggies boast two golfers in the top-four with Dominique Galloway posting a 69 (-2) to put her in a tie for first place with Seattke U's Vendela From. Pun Chanachai is in a fourth-place tie after one round as she fired a 71 (E).

Chantel Dueringer posted a 75 (+4) to put her in a tie for 18th, while Mario Prado and Angela Zhu sit in a 29th-place tie after shooting a 78 (+7).
