LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State volleyball team inked Mia Peterson for the fall 2021 season, head coach Mike Jordan announced on Friday.
"We're excited to have Mia join us," said Jordan. "She's going to be a very good player and she's a versatile attacker. She's got great energy, just like her mom [Angela Lobendahn-Peterson]."
Peterson, a native of Pleasant Grove, Utah, starred at Pleasant Grove High School. The outside hitter was named First Team All-State in 2019 and 2021 while leading the Vikings to a UHSAA state championship in 2019.
