RIVERSIDE Calif. – The New Mexico State men's and women's cross country teams took on top competition at the Highlander Invitational, hosed by UC Riverside, on Saturday, Oct. 13. The women's squad took home second in the 5k while the men placed seventh in the 8k race from the UCR Agricultural Course.
On the women's side, Jessica Dominguez crossed the finish line first for the NM State squad, placing 11th with a time of 17:29.1. Elana Kresl came in second for the Aggies, checking in at 19th overall posting a time of 17:45:00. Stephanie Quintero was the third NM State runner to cross the line and finished 23rd overall with a time of 17:53.
