LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State track and field team travels to Boise, Idaho, for the Western Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. The two-day meet is set to take place at the Ford Idaho Center from Feb. 22-23.
Heading into the meet, NM State was picked to finish third by the league's head coaches. The Lopes of GCU were picked as the favorites in the women's side, earning five first place votes and 47 points overall. Utah Valley was selected to finish second with 40 points and two first place votes. The Aggies received 39 points and one first place vote.
