HOUSTON – The New Mexico State swimming and diving team sits in second place after the third day of the Western Athletic Conference Championships with 407 points. Northern Arizona leads the way with 568.5 points.
"We started the meet with a really good morning session." Said associate head coach Rachel Judge. "We had a number of girls make it to A finals and B finals and every point matters. The girls have been really good at handling the emotional energy that comes with competing in a championship format. Our relays performed well even with all the nervousness and excitement that comes with that NAU is tough to beat but we've been chipping away and the final day is historically our best day.
