LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State men's tennis senior Stijn de Haan claimed his third-straight singles title in the Aggie Invitational on Sunday after he beat out teammate Louis Menard 6-1, 6-3.
His first title came his sophomore year against former teammate Christopher Goncalves and was deemed co-champions last fall when the two didn't play out their match on the final day.
In the consolation bracket, Luis Flores took down Martin Simicek 6-3, 6-4 for fifth place while Mauri Benitez bested teammate Enrique Asmar 6-3 in a shortened match for seventh place.
