CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The New Mexico State men's tennis team opened the HEB Invitational with a dominant 4-0 blanking of host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Friday morning at the Henry Tennis Center.
The Islanders came out with a quick 6-3 victory on court No. 2 before Enrique Asmar and Sergi Espias knotted things up in doubles action with a 6-4 victory at the No. 3 flight. The Aggies' top doubles pair of Christofer Goncalves and Luis Flores continued their strong play together and clinched the doubles point for NM State with a 6-4 victory.
